JASTI主動處理RoHS2違禁物質。
2015年6月,歐盟委員會發布了一個命名為(EU)2015/863的新指令來修改了 RoHS 2 (Directive 2011/65/EU)的附件二以增加下面四種鄰苯二甲酸鹽:
- ? Bis(2-Ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP)
- ? Benzyl butyl phthalate (BBP)
- ? Dibutyl phthalate (DBP)
- ? Diisobutyl phthalate (DIBP)
上述這四種鄰苯二甲酸化合物,在日本被廣泛用作聚氯乙烯增塑劑,而歐盟的新RoHS2法規將在2019年后施行。
JASTI在過去曾使用DINP材料作為聚氯乙烯的增塑劑,雖然DINP材料目前并不在法規所列的違禁材料列表中,但是我們考慮到DINP材料可能會在將來被添加進法規所列違禁材料中去,出于這個原因,我們棄用了DINP,將聚氯乙烯增塑劑的材料改為沒有任何酸性氣體產生的材料。這則訊息在JASTI 2017版的產品手冊中有被提到。
目前,JASTI使用的聚氯乙烯增塑劑材料是沒有任何酸性氣體產生的環保材料,并且產品的重量和硬度仍然可以達到法規圖紙的要求值。

Specifications
The hardness of lumbar spine is an important factor which affects the movement of the upper part of dummy and the impact value on ribs. For the reason, we have been testing lumbar spine (for Hybrid-III 50th, Hybrid-III 5F, 6-year-old, 3-year-old dummies…etc) on a Torso bending test equipment to observe and record the bending characteristics of upper torso.
As the lumbar spine of Hybrid-III 50th is in a curve shape, it is necessary for controlling the hardness of the rubber in that we control the performances.
